Heavy-duty trapped-pressure unloader (bypass) valve for high-pressure washing systems. VB-85 provides smooth pressure regulation, automatic bypass when the spray gun is closed, and a convenient 1/4" gauge port for system monitoring.

Operation

Entire pump discharge is routed through the valve. When set pressure is exceeded during spraying, the valve regulates system pressure. When the gun is released, the valve diverts to pressure-free bypass while line pressure remains trapped upstream of the gun, ready for instant restart.

Safety notes

  • Observe flow direction. Do not block or restrict the bypass line.
  • Prolonged bypass can heat water; limit bypass duration.
  • Set relief pressure using a calibrated gauge on the 1/4" port.
